BOSTON — A leatherback turtle washed up on a Cape Cod beach Thursday.The turtle, estimated to weigh about 400 to 500 pounds, was found on Popponesset Beach in Mashpee. Officials at New England Aquarium said that the turtle is dead and a commercial for The New England Aquarium. I believe this might be from the 70’s. Thought I’d put it up in case anyone is interested, it’s probably rare. Those that remember this commercial often recall one for the Museum of Science in Spotted this guy in the outside display tank at the New England Aquarium in Boston a little over a month ago. He was perfectly content to lounge and pose. Last summer, we scored some free tickets to Riverside Park Six Flags New England.
